Seafood and aquaculture sector is an important export revenue earner  for  Bangladesh.  The industry is facing residue, contamination issues. 

We conducted a seminar  together with the Advance Animal Health Science Co  Ltd  at the Head Office Department of Fishery, Dhaka.  The  meeting was attended  by  the Director General (DG), senior officers and industry representatives.  As a follow up , we will be initiating an evaluation/validation tests to determine the "fit for purpose " of  residue screening kits base on performance analytical guidelines and interpretation (Directive EC/657/2002 ) with  the authorities and industry.
