Arizona - Diagnostic Test for EMS/AHPNS 

University of Arizona (UA)  have developed a diagnostic test  that allows shrimp farmers and hatchery personnel to quickly diagnose Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS). Arizona scientist Dr.Donald Lightner helped develop the test, and he is getting it into the hands of shrimp farmers overseas through  Tech Launch  Arizona, the university's branch that gets development from the UA out of the lab and into the market. UA has a licensing agreement with Genereach Biotechnology to make the test available worldwide.
