The Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Syndrome (AHPNS)  or  Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS)  PCR test is available at our laboratory. This test will detect presence of the AHPNS  causing virulent V. parahaemolyticus.

Suitable specimen for  test include : 

1. Shrimp Postlarvae

2. Fresh or Live Feed  (Artermia, Oyster, Bloodworm, Squid)

3. Shrimp Hepatopancreas

4. Shrimp fecal sample ( pond, tank or intestine) 

5. Pond/Tank  Water
